This series consists of heirship testimony and reports. Records include copies of statements and reports given before the Superintendent and Special Disbursing Agent of the Flandreau School and Agency related to establishment of heirs of deceased Indians. The records include copies of transcribed testimony used as exhibits in inheritance cases. The records also include related reports. The information in the reports includes the description of property left by the deceased; the names of relatives surviving the deceased; notices of hearing to determine the heir; the name of the heir; and the heir's relationship to the deceased.
